Job Description

Who you are:

This position is directly responsible for revenue growth goals for the company through managing and motivating a team of Small Business Account Managers (SBAM) and Community Acquisition Managers (CAM) who are responsible for the success of a portfolio of small business customer accounts and growing the overall network.  The position is key to ensuring our customers success by developing and executing strategies to drive moveins and improve the conversion rate of referred leads and maintains and grows the current APFM network.   The team will be evaluated by the performance of their individual portfolio on a monthly basis and directly report to the Director Small Business and Acquisitions. This role requires a combination of analytical and sales skills commitment to delivering a seamless consumer experience while working cross functionally with other divisions within our organization to maximize outcomes and drive company success.

What you will do:

  • Lead manage and develop a highperforming resultsdriven Account Management team through recruitment training coaching and motivation.
  • Provide strong dynamic leadership that mentors develops and guides team members to efficiently leverage the value of every call for maximum conversion rates and outcomes.
  • Train mentor and manage SBAMs (Small Business Account Managers) and CAMs (Community Acquisition Managers) on how to build relationships and educate their community customers over the phone on the value of their APFM partnership.
  • Manage the performance of your team to maximize outcomes.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue results monthly to achieve company goals.
  • Prepare and report on market performance to Senior Leadership team as required.
  • Incorporate APFM Values into each customer and coworker interaction.
  • Other duties identified to meet the needs of the business.
  • Quarterly overnight travel may be required for Divisional and Organizational Sales Meetings with additional attendance to annual Senior Living conferences.
  • This is a full time position that will require a flexible work schedule between the hours of 8am and 5pm with monthend support offered to our Sales Team.
  • Ability to work from a home office.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree Required.
  • 5 years of experience in account management and/or senior living sales management
  • Track record of exceeding quota as a sales manager.
  • Passionate about managing by metrics.
  • 3 years successful experience in a sales role.
  • 3 years successful experience as a sales manager.
  • History of attracting sales talent for your teams.
  • Track record of developing new sales talent into top performers.
  • Ability to manage seasoned sales talent to maximize their performance.
  • Willingness to quickly come up to speed on the senior living industry.
  • Documented history of ability to develop and maintain good working relationships in a multistakeholder sale.
  • Proven ability to builds longterm relationships of professional credibility and trust.
  • Ability to solve personnel issues both timely and professionally.
  • Asks for help when needed to solve problems but is independent in running the day to day Account Management operations.
  • Promotes a positive and energetic sales atmosphere with the team.
  • Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent environment.
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills necessary including Word and Excel.


Additional Information :

Home Office Requirements:

  • This position requires you to have a designated home office space allowing for privacy during working hours as well as a high speed internet connection.   
  • It is expected that the Director will manage a daily schedule that is free from distractions and interruptions. Taking care of children or audible pets is not permissible during work hours.
  • You will be provided with a laptop fully loaded with Microsoft Office Outlook Five9 access to our CRM system and VPN so that you may connect to our intranet.

 Compensation:

  • The position is a salaried exempt position.

    • Base Salary: $90000$95000
    • Variable Bonus: $27000 $28500
