Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician to join our team in Southwest Oklahoma City. This role is responsible for the inspection troubleshooting repair and maintenance of conveyor belt systems in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and the ability to work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections to identify wear damage or malfunctions and diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues affecting conveyor performance.
- Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs replacements and adjustments on conveyor belt components such as rollers pulleys belts motors and bearings.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled maintenance procedures including lubrication alignment and part replacements to extend equipment lifespan.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while working on conveyor belt systems to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Documentation & RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections repairs and parts inventory.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team production personnel and suppliers to coordinate maintenance activities and optimize conveyor operations.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and restore equipment functionality.
- Training & Support: Provide guidance to operators and maintenance personnel on proper equipment operation maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and costsaving measures related to conveyor belt maintenance and operations.
