Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Direct Sales Representative to promote and sell our electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads building relationships with potential customers and driving sales in the EV charging market. You will work directly with individuals businesses and organizations to understand their needs and offer tailored EV charging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Identify and prospect new customers for EV charging solutions including residential commercial and fleet clients.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions for EV charging installations including hardware software and subscription services.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest EV charging technology trends and market developments to effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Attend trade shows conferences and local networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness in the EV charging industry.
- Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of EV charging systems and how they can meet the customer’s needs.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain longterm relationships with customers ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing and terms with clients closing sales and ensuring timely followup and contract completion.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities and progress against targets and report regularly to sales management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in direct sales preferably in the energy technology or automotive industries. EV charging industry experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to influence and persuade decisionmakers.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with EV technology electric vehicles and the energy sector is highly desirable.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Drive & Motivation: Selfstarter with a proactive approach to sales goaloriented and resultsdriven.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software
- Strong understanding of sustainability and renewable energy trends
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory
