Job Description
ALTEN Ltd is seeking a highly skilled ECSS Quality Inspector to support our growing projects in the Space sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on commercial programs ensuring quality standards are met for critical components. You will play a vital role in maintaining production excellence and validating documentation in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) containing up to 4000 components.
- Verify thermal coatings cabling mass flatness bolt presence and other manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on production manufacturing processes.
- Validate documentation and manage NCR (NonConformance Reports).
- Utilize tools such as SAP SAP ME and Windchill for data export and analysis.
Requirements:
- Accreditation from ESA Training School or equivalent (inhouse reapproval can be provided).
- Certification in one of the following standards:
- ECSSQST7008
- ECSSQST7028
- ECSSQST7038
- ECSSQST7061 (latest version preferred).
- Familiarity with quality activities in production manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SAP SAP ME and Windchill software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict quality standard
Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
A degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Aerospace Engineering Quality Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
- Must be eligible to achieve Security Clearance.
