Job Description

PartTime Property Management Assistant Join a TopRated Harlem Property Management Team

Location: Harlem Property Management 270 Malcolm X Blvd.
Schedule: Monday Friday 10 AM 6 PM (8 10 hours per week)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($15.00$20.00 per hour based on experience.)

Are you an organized detailoriented professional looking for a flexible parttime role in a fastpaced teamdriven environment Harlem Property Management (HPM) is seeking a PartTime Property Management Assistant to support our accounting and administrative operations.

This role is perfect for someone with strong clerical skills who enjoys working independently while keeping financial records and office operations running smoothly. An ideal role for students currently undergoing Real Estate business or accounting/financial education.

What You ll Do

Financial & Document Management

  • Scan and process checks for deposit ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Assist the Controller with various accounting and administrative tasks.
  • Scan file and organize financial documents for proper storage and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records

Office Administration & Mail Processing

  • Open sort and distribute incoming mail efficiently.
  • Provide light administrative support to the accounting and property management teams.
  • Ensure a wellorganized office environment by handling clerical tasks with precision.


Requirements

  • Must be willing and capable to travel to the Harlembased office.
  • Previous experience in an office or accounting environment is preferred. Alternatively students pursuing degrees in financial accounting business or Real Estate looking for handson experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Techsavvy comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and scanning software.
  • Reliable responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
