Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js NestJS TypeScript and AWS to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a problemsolving mindset a deep understanding of algorithms and a proactive approach to software development. You will work on scalable and highperformance backend systems for our retail ecommerce platform leveraging modern technologies like Kubernetes (K8s) Docker and PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
- Work with PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Deploy monitor and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Leverage AWS services for cloudbased application development.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code using TypeScript.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for highperformance applications.
- Participate in code reviews architectural discussions and technical decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to build and enhance ecommerce solutions.
- Ensure application scalability security and reliability.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 years of handson experience in backend development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js NestJS and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database design and query optimization.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda etc.).
- Handson experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Strong understanding of algorithms and problemsolving.
- Proactive open to discussions and not afraid to debate conflicting ideas constructively.
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:
- Experience working in Retail eCommerce platforms.
- Passion for problemsolving and innovation.
- Strong understanding of scalability and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects.

Location: Bangalore
