Job Description

TPF Recruitment is delighted to support our client a successful and wellestablished accountancy practice in the local area in their search for an experienced and ambitious Accounts Manager. Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships overseeing the delivery of accounting services and ensuring the team s success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries acting as the main point of contact for their accounting needs.
  • Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts tax computations and management accounts prepared by the team.
  • Providing advisory support to clients including financial planning forecasting and identifying opportunities for business improvement.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members supporting their development and progression.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements including deadlines and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with the senior management team to contribute to the firm s strategic objectives and growth.


Requirements

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

  • Professional qualification (ACA ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in an accountancy practice environment with strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent technical skills including experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • A proactive problemsolving mindset and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
