We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.



Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
  • Manage patient checkin and checkout processes efficiently.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments ensuring optimal use of clinic resources.
  • Answer and direct phone calls addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Verify patient insurance information and process necessary documentation.
  • Collect and process patient payments copays and fees.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing faxing and data entry.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Understand limits of responsibility by not providing medical advice to patients.

Essential Skills Certifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
