Job Description

Job Position: Class B Welder

Location:Catoosa OK
Pay Rate:$25.00 $27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift:Monday Friday 5:00 AM 3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seekingexperienced Class B Weldersto join our team in Catoosa OK. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in welding functions working within precise limits and accuracy standards. This position requires expertise in arc gouging blueprint interpretation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welding Operations:
    • Perform welding tasks according to job specifications.
    • Select appropriate equipment and plan layout and assembly for welding projects.
    • Ensure highquality welds in compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Execute2G and 3G MIG/Flux Core plate testswith precision.
    • Proficient in arc gouging techniques.
    • Interpret and utilize various measuring tools (e.g. tape measure protractor).
    • Ability to read analyze and interpret technical codes (ASME API650620).
  • Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
    • Work closely with supervisors and QA/QC personnel to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and company policies.
    • Verify the accuracy of work using various measuring devices and weld symbols.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Class B Welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and procedures.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (ASME API650620).
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
  • Testing Requirements:
    • Successful completion of2G and 3G MIG/Flux Core plate tests.
