Job Description
For our Global Research Team we are looking for an ambitious specialist to join our international Research Team for Restructuring Performance Transformation and Transaction in Bucharest Romania. Our team provides research support to all Roland Berger offices globally. As Research Specialist for Restructuring Performance Transformation and Transaction you will support consulting teams mainly in DACH with indepth analysis and market assessments. Besides conducting information searches and analyses you will carry out shortterm project tasks and support internal studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct company market and industry research and analysis to identify relevant drivers and trends
- Evaluate companies and business models across various industries through financial analysis
- Perform information searches and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Calculate key financial indicators metrics and benchmarks and conduct complex financial analyses for restructuring cases
- Utilize professional databases especially financial databases
- Support internal studies and product development
- Contribute to internal knowledge management
Qualifications :
- Outstanding business economics degree from a university or international business school
- First professional experience in Corporate Finance or M&A e.g. at auditing firms investment banks financial investors or consulting companies
- Strong understanding of business administration and financials with a keen interest in restructuring turnaround and transactions (PMI carveout private equity M&A etc.)
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of service orientation and flexibility
- Proficiency in MS Office and professional financial databases like CapIQ BvD etc.; knowledge of Python and web sing capabilities is an advantage
- Structured and goaloriented working style with friendly and open communication
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian as well as fluency in German additional language skills are desirable
