Job Description
PartTime Art Teacher for Adults
Location: Lancaster
Wage: Competitive hourly wage
Hours: Parttime 4 classes per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative PartTime Art Teacher to lead art classes for adult learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching art to beginners and improvers and able to deliver engaging lessons in a variety of mediums.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills with a confident classroom presence
- Excellent subject knowledge in art techniques and materials
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Organizational skills to plan and deliver structured lessons
- Ability to promote the courses to new and existing students
- Experience in curriculum development
- At least two years experience in a similar teaching role
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging art classes for adult learners
- Foster strong relationships with students and encourage their artistic growth
- Create a stimulating inclusive and safe classroom environment
- Provide constructive feedback on students progress
- Maintain uptodate teaching materials and resources
