VPG seeks a resultsdriven Senior Managing Director to lead our global ThermoMechanical Simulator business unit.
This is an onsite position is seated at DSI in Poestenkill NY.
As the Senior Managing Director this position will:
- Lead global P&L business unit focused on ThermoMechanical simulators for steel mills and materials labs overseeing sales marketing operations and engineering while developing strategic initiatives to optimize market potential and profitability within budget.
- Oversee all DSI functions: sales business development marketing engineering and operations.
- Manage worldwide sales teams field service and technical support while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and control costs.
- Drive operational excellence through production efficiency and inventory control while working crossfunctionally with global teams including Finance HR IT and Logistics.
- Develop and execute annual business plans.
- Implement VPG corporate policies within the DSI site.
- Drive longterm growth strategies.

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual s unique set of knowledge skills education experience and geographic location as well as internal equity.
Requirements :
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Materials or Physics preferred) MBA.
- 3 years of P&L management preferably as a General Manager.
- Strong industry knowledge aligned with educational background.
