Job Description
In depth knowledge of Gx portfolio G30 G31 G32 and G42 system architecture signal flow DWDM/ROADM/CDC functional blocks and supported configurations
In depth knowledge of SW/FW release lineups element management system and network management system
Expertise in reading Network Planning tool design layouts and configurations
Handson expertise in GX commissioning provisioning and OAM&P (operations admin maintenance and provisioning)
Proficient with automated NEAT tool G30 v3 and G32 v1as well as manual NEAT procedures
Proficient with NAT (Network Acceptance Test) methodology field test and turn up procedures
Proficient in fiber OSP fiber handling scoping cleaning connector types etc
Proficient with troubleshooting using fault sectionalization interpreting OAM parameters (thresholds alerts events) optical power balancing (indepth understanding of internal system eOPMs (electronic optical power monitors)
Preferred experience with Frontier Communications Infinera optical network deployments COEI process and in field infrastructure (installation cable management)
