Job Description

Job Overview:

The Head of Procurement and Logistics will oversee the companys supply chain strategy and operations to ensure efficiency costeffectiveness and reliability. This role involves managing procurement activities vendor relationships (including fleet and Local Service Providers LSPs) and logistics to support business goals and maintain operational excellence. Reporting directly to the CFO EMEA and the Director of Operations Europe (dotted line) and working with US Procurement the successful candidate will bring strategic thinking strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities to drive improvements across the supply chain and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the companys objectives.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Oversee procurement operations including supplier selection contract negotiation and purchase order management.
  • Establish strong relationships with key suppliers ensuring compliance with quality cost and delivery standards.
  • Set KPIs and metrics to measure and improve the procurement process cost savings supplier performance and risk mitigation.
  • Drive costsaving initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations identifying opportunities for improvement.

Operations Management

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align procurement and supply chain activities with business needs.
  • Manage the logistics and distribution network ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Address operational challenges and implement solutions to streamline supply chain operations.

Risk Management

  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulatory and ethical standards for procurement and logistics.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Led and developed highperforming Warehouse & Logistics and Procurement teams.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.

Technology & Process Optimization

  • Leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve procurement and supply chain processes.

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Develop and promote sustainable procurement practices that align with the companys environmental social and governance (ESG) goals.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree (Masters MBA or equivalent) preferred and multilingual a plus.

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in supply chain and procurement with at least 2 years in a managerial role ideally within the security industry. Proven track record in supplier negotiation cost reduction and process optimization.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools
  • Excellent analytical negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives and risk management strategies.

Work Environment:

This position may require occasional travel to supplier locations or company facilities. Flexible working arrangements including remote work are available based on business needs.
