Job Description

Job Title: Business Developer Proprietary Trading

Location: Limassol Cyprus
Department: Business Development

Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Developer to join our proprietary trading firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities developing strategic partnerships and expanding our presence in the financial markets. This role requires a deep understanding of financial products trading strategies and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the proprietary trading sector.
  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients partners and industry influencers to enhance the firms market presence.
  • Business Strategy: Develop and implement business strategies that align with the firms growth objectives and optimize trading operations.
  • Sales Development: Drive the sales process from lead generation to client acquisition focusing on fostering longterm relationships with clients.
  • Proposal Management: Prepare and present proposals to potential clients showcasing the firms capabilities and value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with trading teams to understand product offerings and identify crossselling opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development sales or a similar role within the financial services or proprietary trading context.
  • Strong understanding of trading strategies financial markets and investment products.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and using CRM tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Network of contacts in the financial industry.
  • Experience with digital marketing and brand positioning.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to trading.
