Job Description

Location: Cape Town Area
Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Sales Manager

Are you a dynamic resultsdriven sales professional with a passion for the hospitality industry My client is looking for a talented Sales Representative to join their team and drive growth by promoting highquality food products to hotels restaurants and catering businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within the hospitality industry building lasting relationships with hotels restaurants and catering businesses.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective strategies and presentations.
  • Market Insight: Monitor trends analyze competitor activities and provide actionable management insights.
  • Customer Service: Ensure timely resolutions to client inquiries and seamless order fulfillment.
  • Promotional Activities: Represent the company at trade shows and events to enhance product visibility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: 35 years in FMCG sales preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or Hospitality Management (advantageous).
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Indepth knowledge of the hospitality sectors procurement processes.

Who Were Looking For

  • Location: Must reside in the Cape Town area.
  • Professionalism: Presentable with a professional demeanor (ages 25 to 35 preferred).
  • Selfmotivated: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel: Willing to visit clients regularly and attend industry events. (must have own transport)
