Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead and support critical business and technology initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of process analysis requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
This is a 6 month contract position extendable up to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and document detailed business needs.
- Analyze current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop business cases including costs benefits and risks of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align business and technology solutions.
- Create functional specifications user stories and clear documentation.
- Conduct impact analyses and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in testing and training to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between endusers technical teams and consultants.
- Drive process reengineering projects and prepare detailed recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Commerce or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years as a Business Analyst with 5 years in process analysis and Agile projects.
- Strong critical thinking communication and client relationship skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate frame problems and produce wellinformed decisions.
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass enhanced background checks.
Preferred Assets:
- IIBA accreditation or knowledge of BABOK.
