Job Description
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies in line with accounting standards.
- Producing management accounts and providing insightful analysis for clients.
- Preparing VAT returns and ensuring timely submission.
- Assisting with bookkeeping duties and resolving client queries.
- Supporting the preparation of tax computations and returns.
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and provide updates on their accounts.
- Working closely with senior team members to support the smooth delivery of client services.
- Identifying opportunities to improve client processes and add value to their businesses.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy practice working on a range of accounts preparation and bookkeeping tasks.
- Qualifications: Partqualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent or qualified by experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks or Sage as well as proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
- ProblemSolving: The ability to manage workloads meet deadlines and address client needs efficiently.
