Job Description
- Wash dishes flatware pots pans and cooking utensils by hand when necessary
- Operate the industrial dishwasher in a proper and safe manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards; keep the dishwashing area clean and organized including cleaning sinks drains and counters
- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas as needed
- Prepare and package individual place settings
- Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks such as retrieving items or light prep work as needed
- Clean up spills and broken glass
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors during shift (as needed) and at the end of shift
- Help with food receiving and delivery assist in putting food & goods away in proper designated areas
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas
- Monitor and refill dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies
Qualifications :
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Willingness to learn and work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
Pay Range: $21.00 $23.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
