Job Description
The Automation Engineer will provide engineering support for production manufacturing facility. Manufacturing systems include Ignition SCADA and OSIsoft PI.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality automation support
Anticipate recommend and champion requirements that serve client s best interest
Change control identification specification planning documentation and execution in compliance with GxP and GAMP guidelines.
Coordinate with team members to troubleshoot and find resolution while maintaining accountability and ownership of the problem.
Conception demonstration and execution of solutions to address requirements and overcome platform and project constraints.
Must have experience successfully interacting and working with customers at multiple levels of responsibility in a manufacturing or production environment.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to analyze data and help drive key process related decisions.
Contribute to the overall success of the team through continuous improvement of processes documentation and technical skills of the entire team.
Requirements
B.S. degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related work or project experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuring automation systems (i.e. Ignition)
Experience with Ignition SCADA MES and OSIsoft PI systems or similar process automation systems
Ability to support production activities
Experience with GMP principles in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technological or procedural issues
Demonstrate the character traits of accountability and ownership in executing job functions.
Familiarity with Data Integrity principles including but not limited to 21 CFR Part 11
Excellent interpersonal verbal & written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal oversight
