Job Description
Position: Network Engineer/Architect
Worksite: Long Beach CA 90810 Onsite 5 Days/Week
Duration: Long term contract

- Network Fundamentals Troubleshooting Administration Engineering Architecture Background
- MultiVendor Environments: Cisco Juniper Fortinet etc.
- Can Design Network Solutions (i.e. WAN/ECAN is an active project) can understand network architectures
- Can Troubleshoot Network and Slow Performance Issues
- Custom Scripting (highly preferred PowerShell or other language)
- Selfstarter Independent productivity manager is professional/polished but also laidback and handsoff
- Background: Experience working in the education / school district space (preferred)
DaytoDay:
- Network administration design engineering architecture & general IT troubleshooting
- Support ongoing projects learn new technologies scope out implementations monitor/maintain network planning performance improvement
- Collaborate with a diverse group to make positive changes across their IT environments fostering new ideas and communicating effectively while contributing to growth and stability
Technical Notes:
- Network Management for wireless voice softwaredefined network (SDN). Want to advance their speed connection and overall network performance. Focus on future cloud networking
- Will help with supporting and backend
- Handle Network Service Requests and incident response related to infrastructure in ITIL environment. Establish design efforts to implement solutions and advanced protocols
- Security: Advanced Threat Protection Patching Remediation Penetration Tests Vulnerability Scans Microsoft Azure Network Security Data Center Security Mitigation Plans Threat Detection
- Scripting: Custom Scripting
