Job Description

Job Title: LBS1 Special Education Teacher

Start Date: Immediate

Work Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Caseload: Elementary CrossCategorical

The Special Education Teacher is responsible for IEP development and case management data collection differentiation and intervention for academic and/or socialemotional needs technology integration and the ability to work with different professionals therapists and age groups.

We are seeking a caring individual with a desire to help students achieve their goals to join our team.

Requirements

Bachelors in Special Education; Masters degree a plus.
Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
Have or be eligible to apply for a New York teaching certification with special education (LSB1) endorsement.
