Job Description

Atlanta SPED Teacher Immediate Interviewing!

Start Date: 2025 Academic School Year

Setting: Multiple Openings Across PreK3rd Grade Level

Job Type: FullTime

This role offers an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children with developmental delays and disabilities. We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to creating inclusive supportive spaces where every child can succeed.

Role Description:

Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with other service providers.
Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet IEP goals.
Create a structured safe and nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and independence.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for early childhood students with special needs.
Provide instruction in both individual and group settings to meet the developmental needs of children ages 35.
Collaborate with families paraprofessionals therapists and other educators to support each child s goals and progress.
Use playbased learning and developmentally appropriate practices to support social emotional cognitive and physical growth.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field and possess a valid Georgia teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education. A solid understanding of early childhood development and effective behavior management strategies is essential. While prior experience working with children with disabilities in a preschool setting is preferred strong communication and teamwork skills are critical for collaborating with families and colleagues to support student success.
