Job Description
I need 2 candidates for this role who are local to Cincinnati and good at communication/vocabulary. (Need Local candidates only)
Requirements
- Significant Java programming skills and backend development experience
- Expertise in Microservices architecture and Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring Security)
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases
- Experience with modern libraries tooling and messaging architectures (Kafka or equivalent)
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs and understanding REST principles
- Handson with Docker GIT CI/CD and writing unit/integration tests
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills
- Selfstarter with the ability to deliver quality work under pressure
- Businessminded approach to managing time costs and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Typical Duties
- Develop backend eCommerce web and merchandising applications using cloud platform technologies
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of our product
- Work with fullstack engineers to build and ship features
- Identify and uphold engineering best practices
- Monitor performance address usability issues and rectify traffic drops
