Job Description
Job title : Supply Management Planner III
Client : Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration : 01 year with possible Extension
Location : Moline IL 61265
Shift : Flex start time: Working hours can be anywhere between 7:30am 5:00p
Description:
Performs the duties of a Supply Management Planner II. Manages the daytoday performance and relationship of a group of suppliers for several assigned commodities to support factory operations. Works with the Supply Base to drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
Duties:
- Schedules and expedites the delivery of purchased materials to support a production plan including recommendations for premium logistic alternatives when appropriate.
- Processes supplier nonconformances and expedites corrective actions.
- Works with the Supply Management Specialist to maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance; measures the performance of the supplier and defines corrective actions.
- May negotiate with suppliers to resolve shortterm performance problems.
- Supports the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and costeffective manner.
- Supports EPDP by ensuring an effective transition from Product Delivery Process (PDP) to Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) through timely placement and receipt of initial production orders.
- Works proactively with the Supply Management Specialist managing highly complex commodities and supply base.
- Coordinates and executes inventory plans using system parameters and material replenishment strategies to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals.
- Drives continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supply base using the Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
- Coordinates and executes the logistics requirements for the supplier concerning containers packaging methods and parameters.
- Arranges agreements with the supplier on appropriate logistics processes before the start of production.
- Resolves and eliminates shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.

Specific Position Requirements:
NOTES:
- Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the near future for this position.
- This will be an onsite position.
- Work min 40 hrs/week; may require OT on occasion.
- Recent college graduates will be considered for this position
- Must be able to work in a dynamic/fastpaced environment with the ability to multitask.
Position Requirements:
- 1 or more years of experience working in Supply Management.
- Experience with Purchasing.
- 1 or more years of experience with Supply Management processes the Requisition to PO process and tools (JDSN SAP SRM CP).
- SAP experience is HIGHLY preferred.
- 1 or more years of experience with negotiations and conflict resolution.
- 1 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel PowerPoint OneNote).
- The ability to prioritize multitask and work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
