Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Warehouse Associate Lv3
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Pontoon Beach IL 62040
Shift: Normal schedule after Training: Sunday (7am to completion around 5pm)MTh (3pm to shift end)
Training: MF 8am to completion (usually 5pm occasionally later)
Job Description:
Preferred Minimum 1 Year Forklift (Standup) Experience Should Be Demonstrated In Work History
This position is a member of the location warehouse team responsible for order pulling inbound receiving housekeeping and other warehouse tasks. This role is also responsible for working closely with the team and supervisor to ensure all assigned tasks are done timely and accurately. The role requires excellent communication skills sense of urgency and consistent timely followup.
- 50% Order selecting put away and scanning
- 40% Housekeeping
- 10% Other warehouse tasks
- Keen sense of safety and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
- Equipment operating (reach truck certified and pallet jack)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Candidate Requirements:
- Provide own steel toe shoes
- Dress code: Jeans (no rips tears etc.) & hoodless sweatshirt recommended
- Client provides necessary cold weather gear (coat/hat/gloves)
Requirements:
- Standup forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs unassisted
- Must be able to work in a cold environment consistently 32/0 degrees
- Minimum HS education or equivalent
- Candidates motivated for longterm continued employment Highly Preferred
Schedule Details:
- OT as needed
- Must be willing to work until tasks are completed for the day not a hardstop end time.Example: If 5pm comes and work is still incomplete worker is expected to stay to finish required daily tasks.
Onboarding:
- Background screen required
- Drug Test required
- Physical (with lift assessment up to 100lbs) required
- Audiogram/respirator test NOT required
