About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Solution Architect specializing in the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and managing backend processes in card payments with a strong preference for expertise in Mastercard Visa or Amex ecosystems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise business consulting acumen and program management skills to deliver highimpact solutions in the payments landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design:
- Architect scalable and secure backend solutions for card payment systems focusing on compliance transaction processing and interoperability.
- Design and optimize payment flows settlement processes and reconciliation systems for Mastercard Visa or Amex platforms.
- Ensure alignment of architectural solutions with business objectives regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams ensuring best practices in payment systems architecture.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
- Program Management:
- Act as a Technical Program Manager overseeing the endtoend execution of paymentrelated programs including timelines budgets and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless implementation of payment solutions.
- Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements provide insights and recommend innovative solutions.
- Deliver business process consulting services identifying gaps and driving improvements in payment operations.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that solutions comply with PCIDSS standards and other relevant payment industry regulations.
- Address security concerns fraud prevention and risk management in the payment system architecture.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the payments domain with a focus on card payments and backend processes.
- Handson experience with payment networks like Mastercard Visa or Amex.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Indepth knowledge of transaction processing settlement and dispute management in card payment systems.
- Strong understanding of APIs payment gateways and integrations with thirdparty platforms.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g. SQL NoSQL).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing stakeholders and crossfunctional teams.

Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues Kindly note that we are working in a Hybrid Mode with base location in Bengaluru, Karnataka, this is not a remote role.
