About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and resultsdriven Technical Program Manager with deep expertise in the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have handson experience managing backend processes of card payments. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise program management skills and a business consulting mindset to deliver robust payment solutions and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Lead and manage endtoend delivery of paymentrelated programs ensuring timelines scope and quality standards are met.
- Oversee multiple technical projects tracking progress resolving bottlenecks and managing dependencies across teams.
- Define program goals KPIs and success criteria in alignment with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including business technical and external partners to gather requirements and ensure program alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with payment networks like Mastercard Visa or Amex as well as key partners and vendors.
- Solution Delivery:
- Work closely with architects and engineering teams to design and implement scalable secure payment solutions.
- Drive the development and deployment of backend processes such as transaction processing settlements and reconciliations.
- Risk and Compliance Management:
- Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with program execution and payment system operations.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with PCIDSS standards and other relevant payment industry regulations.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze and improve backend payment workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Provide business consulting expertise identifying gaps and recommending solutions to address operational challenges.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Lead crossfunctional teams including engineering QA product management and operations to ensure cohesive program execution.
- Present program updates and status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the payments domain with a focus on managing card payment programs.
- Handson experience with Mastercard Visa or Amex processes is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of payment systems transaction processing and settlement workflows.
- Proven experience in managing largescale technical programs involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Knowledge of APIs payment gateways and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and modern technology stacks.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical environments.

Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels. Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues Kindly note that we are working in a Hybrid Mode with base location in Bengaluru, Karnataka, this is not a remote role.
