Job Description
Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Architect (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:- Design and implement endtoend Azure cloud solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
- Define cloud architecture standards best practices and governance frameworks.
- Lead the migration of onpremises systems and applications to the Azure cloud environment.
- Develop and maintain scalable secure and costeffective architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide tailored cloud strategies.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- Provide technical leadership for DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
- Mentor and guide technical teams in cloud technologies and practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging Azure services and cloud industry trends.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in IT including 5 years in cloud architecture and 3 years specifically with Azure.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Azurebased solutions.
- Handson experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Storage Azure SQL and Azure Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts microservices architecture and hybrid cloud setups.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
- Experience with DevOps tools and pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins).
- Expertise in networking identity and access management in Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles including identity management encryption and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
