Job Description: Safety management system (SMS) Specialist

Location: Rochester New York (near Buffalo) United States
Need 1012 weeks of onsite work to conduct interviews and collaborate with team members.

Employment & Duration: 12 months Contract position

Number of Positions: 1

Business Travel: 1012 Weeks travel onsite

Client: Aerospace Domain

The profiles need to be specialized in Quality (as BVQ for example).
Our expectations being profiles with more of 5 years of experience.

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Safety Management System (SMS) Specialist to

support clients business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and

managing a comprehensive SMS risk matrix defining actionable KPIs and establishing training

programs to improve safety performance. This position will involve hybrid / remote work with 1012

weeks of onsite engagement for interviews team collaboration and ensure project deliverables are

met.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an SMS risk matrix for SAC ROC.

Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assess and mitigate identified risks.

Create and deliver a relevant training course on SMS for SAC ROC.

Establish a process for monitoring KPIs and developing action plans to address risks.

Should be responsible for the deliverables such as:

Comprehensive SMS risk matrix.

Defined KPIs and processes to monitor and reduce risks.

Training course materials tailored for SAC ROC.

Qualifications & Experience:

Grauate degree in any discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety Management Systems and industrial safety

practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.

Fluent in English (mandatory).

Work Environment:

Primarily hybrid / remote with 1012 weeks of onsite work to conduct interviews and

collaborate with team members
