Job Description
Position: CW Research Scientist
- Plan and execute research investigations using experimental and numerical techniques to improve thermal performance of power electronics device and package.
- Perform device and system level thermofluid simulations to gain understanding of the performance and tradeoffs.
- Porous material design and potential fabrication for thermal management solutions including vapor chambers and twophase cold plates.
- Document learnings in internal reports and external publications to disseminate knowledge.
- Generate innovative ideas new project concepts and demonstrate innovative thinking to solve technical problems.
- Generate and capture novel intellectual property in patents.
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and simulation software such as ANSYS and COMSOL.
- Excellent ability to analyze and interpret experimental data.
- Ability to work both independently and in crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent oral and written English language skills.
