Job Description
Job Title: Fabricator Welder
Work Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range $28$33 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications
- Cut shape and join metal components using various welding techniques
- Operate welding equipment like MIG TIG and stick welders
- Inspect and verify weld quality and structural integrity
- Prepare and set up welding workstations
- Measure and mark metal pieces for fabrication
- Grind and smooth welded joints
- Maintain and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
Required Skills:
- Prior experience bending tubing coping upper structures and handrails.
- Welding certifications (AWS preferred)
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes
- Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Basic mathematics and measurement skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in welding
- 25 years of fabrication welding experience
- Valid safety certifications
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facilities
