Job Title: Sr. Support Analyst / Lead L2 (35 years)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Support Analyst / Lead L2 to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and support of critical applications in a fastpaced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application production support troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations of Unix/Linuxbased systems.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Shell Python Powershell and Perl to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Utilize monitoring tools (e.g. Geneos Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace) to proactively identify and resolve system performance issues.
- Work with version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket to manage code and configuration changes.
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to prioritize and manage issues in a dynamic environment.
- Document technical issues and solutions ensuring that knowledge is captured and easily accessible.
- Provide support for listed derivatives (Futures and Options) and apply your expertise in investment banking.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments and Oracle SQL.
- Expertise in Shell/Powershell/Batch/Perl/Python scripting.
- Handson experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins Git Ansible and Bitbucket.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (Geneos Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace).
- Familiarity with investment banking concepts particularly listed derivatives (Futures and Options).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced changing environment.
Qualifications:
- 25 years of relevant experience in application production support or a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting problemsolving and prioritization abilitity.
