Job Title: Med Surg Inpatient RN

Shift Schedule: 7AM 7PM / 7PM 7AM

Qualification:

Education: A graduate or higherlevel degree bachelors degree associate degree or diploma from an accredited professional nursing education program is required.

Certifications: Any state RN license is acceptable

Certifications: BLS ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the last 36 months (MedSurg Acute Care)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 17bed inpatient unit managing medical and postsurgical patients.
• Perform medication administration IV therapy wound care and pain management.
• Assist in emergency resuscitation and lifesaving interventions (ACLS required).
• Monitor and document patient vitals neurological status and medication effects.
• Manage and operate therapeutic devices including suction tubes drainage systems and ECG machines.
• Collect process and document lab specimens (blood urine stool etc.).
• Act as a team leader coordinating with physicians and ancillary staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality control activities such as crash cart checks and infection control compliance.
