Job Description
Location: Dothan AL 36303
The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for assisting with daily distribution tasks including moving totes handling UPS pallets and replenishing ice trays. This role involves laborintensive activities such as picking packing and order processing. Trays can weigh up to 25 lbs. requiring physical stamina. The associate ensures the accurate and timely processing of orders while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform receiving stocking order fulfillment returns processing and shipping.
- Handle replenishment and inventory management including in refrigerated areas.
- Verify shipments inspect merchandise and report discrepancies or defects.
- Use a radio frequency (RF) scanner for stock picking and inventory tracking.
- Assemble customer orders by pulling stock from shelves and preparing shipments.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and assist with audits.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand English for product identification.
- Basic mathematical and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working in hot cold and refrigerated conditions.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in physical inventory as needed.
