Join Qura as Lead Engineer
At Qura () were transforming knowledge work and legal research. Were putting AI search engines on large legal databases that are currently locked away in outdated digital librariesunlocking a new era of efficiency and accessibility.
Our journey started in 2024.
- In April we launched our first beta in Sweden. Since then 75 firms and hundreds of lawyers have paid to use Qura for thousands of AIsearches.
- In June we raised M2.1 from Cherry Ventures and top angels & lawyers.
- In September we launched Qura EU with success across over 10 countries.
Now we are a team of 9 people looking to build the future of legal research and to recruit the next leader in our tech team.
The Role
Were seeking a Lead Engineer to help lead and shape Quras technology. Youll collaborate directly with our CTO on critical technical decisions and guide our three main teamsAI platform and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Share ownership of Quras tech vision making highlevel architectural decisions and longterm strategy.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor our AI platform and data teams ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.
- HandsOn Development: Contribute directly to our codebasecreating testing and deploying features at startup speed.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5 years scaling tech teams in fastpaced startups (or demonstrable equivalent).
- Expertise: Strong background in at least one of the following areas: AI/ML fullstack/platform development or largescale data infrastructure.
- Ownership Mentality: You take pride in your work thrive on responsibility and own your projects endtoend.
- Execution Focused: You value speed iterative development and collaboration in a dynamic startup environment.
