Job Posting: Pharmacy Technician
Facility: NewtonWellesley Hospital
Location: 2014 Washington St Newton MA 02462
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (With a very high chance of extention)
Shift: 40 hours per week 5x 8hour shifts (Day and Evening)
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Position Overview:
NewtonWellesley Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 13week contract. The candidate will assist in daily pharmacy operations ensuring efficient and accurate preparation dispensing and delivery of medications in compliance with hospital protocols and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication orders and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and pharmacy safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with healthcare providers and patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to commit to the full 13week contract duration.
