Job Description

Job Title: RN Emergency Room

Facility: Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center (GGH)

Address: 12601 Garden Grove Boulevard Garden Grove CA 92843
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable Shift (3p3a and 7p7a)
Pay Rate: $60/hr on W2 or $64/hr on 1099

Requirements
ED/RN W/RECENT 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING.
Will work up to 24 hours per week with the approval for extra shifts when needed.
Current and valid state RN license
Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.
Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
PALS w/in 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.
NIHSS Certificate

Job Description
The RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation.

Provides direct patient care within scope of practice.

The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ED. The registered nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/she communicates with the physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
