Job Description

Deliverables:
- Support and nbsp;existing and nbsp;AIX and nbsp;Solaris and nbsp;and and nbsp;RedHat and nbsp;Linux and nbsp;servers;
- integrate and nbsp;new and nbsp;physical and nbsp;and and nbsp;virtual and nbsp;servers.
- Support and nbsp;AIX and nbsp;Solaris and nbsp;and and nbsp;RedHat and nbsp;Linux and nbsp;on and nbsp;premise and nbsp;and and nbsp;in and nbsp;the and nbsp;cloud.
- Take and nbsp;part and nbsp;in and nbsp;the and nbsp;solutioning and nbsp;and and nbsp;build and nbsp;process and nbsp;to and nbsp;ensure and nbsp;smooth and nbsp;transition and nbsp;to and nbsp;Data and nbsp;Center and nbsp;Operations and nbsp;once and nbsp;complete.
- Provide and nbsp;subject and nbsp;matter and nbsp;expertise and nbsp;in and nbsp;GoCloud and nbsp;environment and nbsp;for and nbsp;AIX and nbsp;Solaris and nbsp;and and nbsp;RedHat and nbsp;Linux.
- Train and nbsp;and and nbsp;perform and nbsp;knowledge and nbsp;transfer and nbsp;with and nbsp;staff and nbsp;and and nbsp;assist and nbsp;with and nbsp;development and nbsp;of and nbsp;shared and nbsp;tools.

Key and nbsp;Responsibilities:
- Lead and nbsp;projects and nbsp;such and nbsp;as and nbsp;migrating and nbsp;Solaris and nbsp;LDOMs and nbsp;from and nbsp;old and nbsp;to and nbsp;new and nbsp;hosts.
- Lead and nbsp;Red and nbsp;Hat and nbsp;upgrades and nbsp;from and nbsp;7 and nbsp;to and nbsp;8 and nbsp;to and nbsp;9 and nbsp;for and nbsp;1200 and nbsp;VMs.
- Lead and nbsp;Patch and nbsp;and and nbsp;Automation and nbsp;compliance and nbsp;activities.
- Lead and nbsp;the and nbsp;transition and nbsp;from and nbsp;on and nbsp;premise and nbsp;UNIX and nbsp;to and nbsp;GoCloud and nbsp;while and nbsp;transferring and nbsp;knowledge and nbsp;to and nbsp;existing and nbsp;team and nbsp;members.
- Support and nbsp;and and nbsp;implement and nbsp;approved and nbsp;changes and nbsp;to and nbsp;existing and nbsp;servers/infrastructure.
- Work and nbsp;with and nbsp;clients and nbsp;and and nbsp;vendors and nbsp;on and nbsp;any and nbsp;issues and nbsp;or and nbsp;changes and nbsp;as and nbsp;required.
- Work and nbsp;with and nbsp;team and nbsp;and and nbsp;solutions/build and nbsp;on and nbsp;refreshes and nbsp;expansions and nbsp;and and nbsp;new and nbsp;infrastructure and nbsp;being and nbsp;deployed and nbsp;as and nbsp;required.
- Perform and nbsp;acceptance and nbsp;process and nbsp;as and nbsp;new and nbsp;infrastructure and nbsp;is and nbsp;transitioned and nbsp;from and nbsp;Solutions/Build and nbsp;team and nbsp;to and nbsp;Data and nbsp;Center and nbsp;Operations.
- Educate and nbsp;rest and nbsp;of and nbsp;team and nbsp;and and nbsp;prepare and nbsp;operational and nbsp;documentation and nbsp;for and nbsp;new and nbsp;technologies and nbsp;being and nbsp;added.
- Provide and nbsp;SME and nbsp;advice and nbsp;and and nbsp;experience and nbsp;to and nbsp;help and nbsp;guide and nbsp;solution and nbsp;keeping and nbsp;its and nbsp;operational and nbsp;support and nbsp;in and nbsp;mind.
- Provide and nbsp;SME and nbsp;advice and nbsp;and and nbsp;work and nbsp;with and nbsp;all and nbsp;teams and nbsp;on and nbsp;continuous and nbsp;service and nbsp;improvement and nbsp;and and nbsp;GoCloud and nbsp;support and nbsp;operations.

1. Enterprise Linux/Unix Infrastructure experience 25%
Parameters:
- 10 years experience providing oversight to support Red Hat Linux AIX and Solaris infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing refresh and transition activities as well as team resources associated with the migration.
- Demonstrated experience with replacement of large enterprise complex services and hardware at large critical locations.
- Demonstrated experience and indepth knowledge of modern Data Centre service models combined with a solid background in contemporary Data Centre approaches.

- Demonstrated experience with assisting transition and refresh.
