2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Claryville Facility Alexandria KY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: $26.00 $35.00 per hour (plus $0.80 shift differential for 2nd shift) Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift at the Claryville facility. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electromechanical systems and equipment. This position ensures a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies including Clients safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair plant equipment and support systems including PLCs scales conveyors chillers and more.
- Read and interpret blueprints electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using precision techniques.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (3phase) mechanical systems motor controls and computer/PLCcontrolled systems.
- Fabricate and weld various types of metals (preferred skill).
- Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities and records.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies including lockout tagout (LOTO) ArcFlash and hot work permits.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives working collaboratively with supervisors and planners.
- Work off shifts weekends and holidays as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent industrial maintenance education.
- Candidates with prior Client experience must meet the minimum 180day rehire waiting period (maximum of three employment terms).
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills including technical support across all operational phases.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/training manuals.
- Experience handling and documenting cleaning chemicals.
- Lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Work in wet humid cold and hot environments including refrigerated areas (40 F).
- Stand or walk on hard surfaces for 8 12 hours per shift.
