Responsible for the care and treatment of newborn infants suffering from illness or prematurity as well as caring for their parents and guardians. Provide roundtheclock care for the basic and medical needs of newborn infants in the NICU. Assist the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment recognizing health issues creating care plans and assessing patient responses. What Youll Do You as an RN will conduct detailed clinical assessments prioritize patient and family needs create implement and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Building relationships managing discomfort staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families. Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues. You will help educate patients families nurses and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Requirements: 1 year Level 3 NICU experience (includes vented patients) or a good strong Level 2 experience Specialized field of study should be nursing. A current and valid nursing license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
