Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced MS SQL Database Developer with expertise in SQL Server Queries Windows SQL Server Queries PLSQL and Performance Tuning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with SQL Server Databricks and Apache Spark jobs (PySpark). This role also includes a nicetohave component of 20% DBA responsibilities and some exposure to Oracle Database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop optimize and maintain complex SQL Server Queries and Windows SQL Server Queries
- Implement and finetune PL/SQL and Performance Tuning techniques for optimal database performance
- Design and implement database solutions on SQL Server and manage stored procedures triggers functions and indexing
- Perform data modeling ETL development and query optimization
- Collaborate with data engineers analysts and software developers to enhance database performance
- Manage 20% DBA tasks including database monitoring backups security and troubleshooting
- Work with Oracle Database as needed to support crossplatform database solutions
- Ensure high availability disaster recovery and replication strategies for SQL Server
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1215 years of experience in MS SQL Development
- Expertise in SQL Server TSQL PL/SQL Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
- Strong experience with Databricks and PySpark Jobs
- Handson experience with database design indexing strategies and stored procedures
- Experience in Windows SQL Server Queries
- Nice to have: 20% DBA experience for SQL Server and some exposure to Oracle Database
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure SQL AWS RDS or cloudbased database solutions
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL tools
- Understanding of NoSQL databases
