Spray Painter Truck Trailers and amp; Cranes
Location: Ottawa Canada
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join a reputable company specializing in truck trailers and cranes. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation paint application and ensuring highquality finishes on various industrial components.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning sanding and masking to ensure proper adhesion.
- Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve desired finishes and specifications.
- Operate spray painting equipment to apply coatings to truck trailers cranes and related components.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot spray painting equipment ensuring optimal performance.
- Keep the work area clean organized and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of paint types application techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering precision and quality.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Spray Painter preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
Licensure:
- Valid Spray Painter license with over 5000 hours of experience to be eligible for licensing in Canada.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills cultural sensitivity and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
