QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- 3 Years Application User support and Incident Management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Solid analytical and problemsolving skills to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues often involving multiple systems and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide responsive and effective user support including the ability to understand user needs explain technical concepts in plain language and document solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell Bash Python) to streamline and optimize operational tasks improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring solutions as well as the ability to quickly triage and respond to incidents escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Proven understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and the ability to manage and maintain onpremises and cloudbased infrastructure including servers storage and networking.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments with a focus on maintaining high availability and uptime.
- Awareness of security best practices and the ability to implement and maintain security controls as well as ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with the ability to collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
- Excellent document writing skills to maintain clear and uptodate documentation of operational processes and procedures.
- German Speaking/ Base understanding.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and.
ROLE:
- The IT Operations Engineer is a crucial member of the IT organization responsible for driving process improvements change management and operational optimization to enhance the overall quality and reliability of IT services.
- This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from managing IT incident investigations to implementing best practices and driving organizational change.
- IT Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis:
- Manage IT problem investigations from start to finish by facilitating root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
- Analyze and report IT incident trend data to identify and eliminate root causes initiating action to fix potential service interruptions.
- Diagnose whether new incidents are related to known errors or existing problems and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Process Improvement and Change Management:
- Responsible for the IT organizations process improvement and change management activities applying relevant methodologies and frameworks.
- Plan and execute process improvement and change management projects ensuring minimal disruption to normal business operations.
- Possess and develop indepth knowledge of business processes to identify when changes in software applications and systems should be initiated.
- IT Operations Optimization:
- Provide technical guidance for planning directing and monitoring information systems operations.
- Analyze the results of workflow plans monitor the operating system(s) and recommend changes to improve processing and utilization.
- Plan and recommend machine modifications or additional equipment to increase the systems capacity and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Develop and implement communication plans to ensure organizational readiness and manage stakeholder expectations during change initiatives.
- Act as a change agent to implement and manage best practices across the IT organization fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).Collaboration with feature teams in Sprint & refinement reviews.
- Support system administrator tasks as required including system upgrade test and validation and end user support.
- Understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
