Job Description
Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Adabas / Natural Programmer (Mainframe Consultant) for one of our clients.
Position: Adabas / Natural Programmer (Mainframe Consultant)
Location: Lenoir NC Onsite (Hybrid)
Full Time Opportunity
Requirement:
- Adabas/Natural Required RPGII is a plus VSE or z/OS on a mainframe
- Writes application specifications draws file layouts and flow charts and performs program coding
- Works with Systems Analyst and the Operation staff in developing programs to the operation stage to minimize computer down time
- Maintains application programs for maximum efficiency and data integrity
- Communicate effectively and proficiently with tea members as well as end users
- Perform on call duties as assigned
- Providing technical assistance to client personnel hardware and software maintenance and upgrades as needed
- Communicate with client personnel to facilitate best methods for objectives and possibilities from a programming standpoint
- Associate or Bachelors degree in related field preferred or equivalent
- 5 years experience programming in Natural/ADABAS or comparable languages preferred
- Strong Communication skills: verbal and written
- Strong data analytics specifically in terms of debugging and troubleshooting program specifications and technical documentation
