Strategic Relationships and Democracy Manager Location: Basildon (Hybrid 3 days officebased) Salary: Up to 35 per hour Contract: Temporary Hours: 36.25 hours per week Ref: RFGOV0124
Refine Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Relationships Manager to join a major local authority in Basildon.
The Role:
- Provide strategic direction to Chief Executives office
- Lead Committee Civic and Member Support functions
- Manage complex political relationships
- Ensure governance compliance
- Direct highlevel stakeholder communications
- Oversee democratic processes
Required:
- Extensive local authority/public sector experience
- Expert knowledge of local authority governance
- Strong political acumen
- Outstanding stakeholder management abilities
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Experience in seniorlevel report writing
Additional Information:
- Evening meetings attendance required
- Immediate start available
- Largest economy in Thames Estuary outside London
- Key role in shaping local governance
