Job Description

The French Sourcer is seeking a Data Engineer. Our client is a DIY retail brand specializing in local proximity services in France with over 300 stores mostly franchised making it a unique player in its sector. It operates a stateoftheart logistics hub of over 100000 m integrating new technologies to enhance efficiency. This infrastructure enables the company to meet ambitious future challenges by serving individual customers local stores and partner brands across the country.

Define deploy and industrialize data flows within your scope.

Ensure the quality and efficiency of the teams developments and maintain existing solutions (run).

Participate in agile rituals within the team and stay up to date with technological advancements.

Contribute to the development of the data platform and associated services.

Support and educate business teams on best practices in data utilization.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

Requirements

Autonomous curious and proactive always seeking optimization and innovation to improve existing processes.

Strong proficiency in SQL and conceptual modeling to structure and organize data efficiently.

Experienced with data transfer processes (ETL/ELT) and tools such as GitHub Terraform and Python.

Skilled in data visualization tools like Power BI Business Object or Looker to provide clear and relevant analyses.

Analytical mindset with excellent synthesis skills capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.

Strong interpersonal skills able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and integrate seamlessly into a fiveperson team (mainly contractors).
