Job Position: Fitter Welder
Location: Sapulpa OK 74066
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (Monday Friday)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team in Sapulpa OK. This role involves fabricating assembling and welding structural components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting final welding and multipass welding techniques while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Observe all standard safety practices and follow all company safety regulations.
Lay out and cut materials for final product assembly.
Perform fitting and welding operations including final welds and multipass welds.
Lay out and mark weld points on parts ensuring precise alignment.
Position pieces to be welded using jigs holding fixtures and measuring instruments.
Maintain and complete all required documentation and records.
Assist in training new employees on fabrication and welding techniques.
Participate in safety committees and other company initiatives.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
Testing Requirements
2G Plate Test Flux core fill and cap.
