Marketing Services Manager

The Marketing Services role purpose is to utilise Visa marketing & communications assets and brand to develop comarketing programs with Issuers Acquires and Merchants delivering measurable and mutually beneficial business outcomes.
Marketing Services is an exciting and highprofile area in CE to work in with the opportunity to make an impact working alongside the different stakeholders from Sales but also Visa Consulting on Issuers Acquirers and Merchants projects.
The role will be based in Frankfurt but will work on projects Key Issuers Acquirers and Merchants over CE with focus on GER and NL to identify mutual business opportunities develop and implement marketing programs and measure results.

What we expect of you day to day.

• Conduct market assessment and identify marketing collaboration opportunities with key partners in Central Europe (GER NL CH and AT)
• Develop individual engagement plans and strategies for each key Client aligned with Clients and Visa business objectives
• Develop actionable Marketing concepts leveraging Visas many assets and own personal expertise (including but not limited to) research and data insights payment trends brand and sponsorship assets creative origination digital marketing solutions local and global best practices).
• Lead development and manage the execution of B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies and plans that differentiate our commercial offerings communicate value to our customers and lead to successful and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure that planned marketing activities align with key Visa priorities and client objectives and have well defined business and marketing KPIs.
• In collaboration with the Sales and MS&A engage directly with key Clients to develop strong working relationships ensuring a thorough understanding of their business.
• Develop and share comarketing use cases and best practices to guide and inspire Clients and the wider Visa organisation
• Where needed manage and/or brief creative media and/or thirdparty agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery of marketing programs.
• Manage budget forecasts production and campaign tracking in collaboration with Clients and thirdparty suppliers.
• Recognize latest consumer & industry trends and innovate to develop new marketing strategies
• Develop innovative new to Visa ways of delivering value to clients.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Experience working in a client facing position in marketing within payment industry
• Experience in acquiring business is a plus
• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
• Proven track record in building and maintaining strong client relationships and experience in development of marketing concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders internally (matrix global organization)
• and externally (Clients).
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
• Experienced with engaging and presenting with impact to senior decision makers
• Advertising and media agency management skills.
• Solid digital marketing experience incl. working Data and Insights
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in German and English

• Flexibility role will involve some travel
