Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Directs and coordinate the Operation of Recombining.
- Ensures Mechanical Efficiency of the equipment's.
- Ensures Economical Efficiency of the equipment's
Plant Maintenance Responsibilities
- Monitoring & Optimizing Preventive Maintenance Program in Maximo.
- Co-coordinating with Production for executing Preventive Maintenance at the daily Production Meeting
- Attend and analyze the root cause for Selective Maintenance and Breakdowns
- Optimizing of Recombining to achieve better efficiency and low wastages.
- Ensure Critical parameters are maintained.
- Ensure that Preventive Maintenance schedules are maintained.
- Plans, follow-up and control of works as scheduled
- Ensures Preventive Maintenance works are performed and consumption of spare parts and other materials monitored into Maximo.
- Review and improve Preventive maintenance Program, in accordance with the Local requirements.
- Directs the shift Engineers /Technicians to sustain and continuously improve the efficiencies.
- Accountable for the total efficiencies of Recombining.
- Provides support when needed to resolve the technical issues in the section and other departments for welders & Machinist.
- Ensure efficient running of the Recombining, Machine shop, Welders workshop and BT Transporters.
Required Qualification
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, preferred Electrical Engineering
- Work Experience: 10 years relevant hands-on professional experience.
Required Professional Skills.
Supervising
Welding and fabrication management
Computer Literacy: MS Office, Oracle & all related software programs
Must be trained on Recombining expert level.
Battery Operated Transporters basic knowledge

1. Team Leadership and Supervision
- Supervising Maintenance Staff: Leading and managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and performing to the highest standards.
- Scheduling and Assigning Work: Creating work schedules for the maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are prioritized, and all preventive maintenance and repairs are completed on time.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of maintenance personnel, providing feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Training and Development: Organizing training programs to enhance the team’s technical skills, safety knowledge, and overall effectiveness.
2. Preventive Maintenance Management
- Maintenance Planning: Developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program to reduce the risk of equipment failure and increase operational efficiency.
- Inspection and Diagnosis: Regularly inspecting equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues or areas of wear and tear, and taking corrective actions before problems arise.
- Routine Maintenance Tasks: Overseeing regular maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, calibration, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns.
3. Equipment and Facility Maintenance
- Machinery Repair and Troubleshooting: Ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning correctly, and managing repairs when issues arise. This may involve troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
- Facility Management: Ensuring that the physical facilities (buildings, HVAC systems, plumbing, etc.) are properly maintained and safe for use by employees.
- Equipment Inventory Management: Keeping an inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment, and ensuring that necessary materials are available for repairs and preventive maintenance.
